FAQ

Q: Does Window Screen Pros manufacture all replacement window screens?

A: Absolutely. We craft our own window screens and select standard doors from scratch at our facility just north of Montgomery, AL. Unlike many window manufacturers in the United States, we provide easily accessible replacement screens. Most manufacturers offer various window sizes, making "in stock" window screens a rarity. This is why you won't find them at big-box retailers. Additionally, most of our screened doors are crafted in Missouri and Tennessee.

Q: Can Window Screen Pros create custom-sized window screens? Are there any limitations?

A: Certainly. We are recognized for handling challenging replacement window screen projects from both residential and commercial clients. There are minimal restrictions, and if we identify any issues within 24 hours of your order, we will promptly contact you. We have successfully crafted screens as large as 120" tall and 80" wide. Please note that we currently do not offer round or pentagon screens.

Q: How does Window Screen Pros ensure safe shipping for delicate products like custom window screens or screened doors?

A: We have developed packaging that ensures 95.0% of our orders arrive undamaged. As of January 1, 2020, our packaging has been revised to use heavy-duty industrial double-walled corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, and stretch wrap for added protection. We use FedEx for standard shipping but are open to using your preferred carrier. For larger commercial orders, we have arrangements with multiple LTL carriers.

Q: What is the turnaround time for online orders of window screens from Window Screen Pros?

A: Depending on the order size, most orders ship within 8-12 business days. Larger orders with more than 5 screens may take up to 12-18 business days. Commercial orders' shipping times vary, so feel free to call for specifics based on order quantity and screen sizes. Please be aware that our busiest season is March - June every year, which may result in production delays.

Q: Is there a minimum number of screens required per order with Window Screen Pros?

A: No, our manufacturing facility is equipped to efficiently produce anywhere from one to 1,000 window screens. Regardless of the order size, each one is given the same level of attention and care.

Q: What forms of payment does Window Screen Pros accept?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. PayPal is also an option for those with existing accounts. While we gladly accept personal or commercial checks, please note that orders paid by check will only ship once the check clears.

Q: How quickly will my order from Window Screen Pros ship?

A: The shipping time depends on the type of order. For stocked items, it's 1-2 business days; custom window screens take 8-12 business days, custom screen doors take 6-10 business days, and larger commercial orders take 12-18 business days. Please consider that our busiest period is March through August.

Q: Does Window Screen Pros split orders?

A: Generally, we try not to split orders for shipping. However, if you order window screens with a custom size patio screen door, we might ship your window screens ahead of the door, as custom screen doors take a bit longer to make and package.

Q: Does Window Screen Pros provide raw materials for DIY projects?

A: Yes, we offer everything you need, from screen mesh to frame material to hardware. Our prices are often more competitive than big-box retailers and hardware stores. All screen-related raw materials are in stock and typically ship within 1-2 business days.

Q: Does Window Screen Pros manufacture and install screened-in porches?

A: Unfortunately, no. However, we can supply you with rolls of screen mesh and other materials. You can save money by having your contractor purchase materials from us instead of Home Depot or Lowe's. Contact us with your screen mesh preferences and material needs, and we'll ship everything to your door. Most contractors prefer charging for labor only, sourcing materials themselves.
