Description
Our 5/16" (7.9 mm) Lip Frame is made from roll formed aluminum and allows for inset mounting within the framed opening. Spline pocket is on the same side as the spline groove.This frame is 3/8" (10 mm) thick. Additionally, we also offer a 3/4" x 7/16" (19 x 11 mm) box type lip-frame that has a 1/2" (12.7 mm) Lip Frame on the facing side. It's made of .025 mil (.63 mm) thickness roll formed aluminum. Our lip frame is cambered (slightly bowed) to retain screen tension during the installation of your selected screen mesh or screen wire. The lip rest against the windows frame for a smooth and secure seal against even the smallest of insects. If your lip window screen installs from the inside you will need to purchase the "reversed" lip window screen.
